I am not pleased with PV. It was 5 years when I discovered the problem. I went back to the store to question my sale. I was told they do not have my records to check. First went in for glasses & the perscription was too strong. The Optomerist reexamined me & corrected the lense. The new glasses worked fine. I retired then passed the drivers liscense eye exam & they took off the corrective lense requirnement. Put the glasses in the draw. I purchased transitions. However, when I started to wear them they were not transitions. I went to the store to see if there was a problem with the lenses. They said they were not transitions but the bill of sale indicates so. I had the perscription but it was the uncorrected one. They then insinuated that I might be trying to pull a scam". They did check the glasses & said it was not the right prescription/. I asked if they could duplicate the lenses & they said no!. It seems strange that they could check the lenses etc". but not able to make new traansition lenses to correct the oversite when first purchased!. They wanted me to take another eye exam for a fee?. If the glases work fine why would I want an exam? I will not go so far as to say this was deliberate'. It was just too convenient to say they do not keep records:. Don't think I will ever go bact to Pearle Vision. 129c80e

Sir,

Glasses are made by a prescription written by an optometrist. Prescriptions expire after one year, thus you are required to have another exam. That is the way it is, period.

To take a pair of glasses back after FIVE YEARS and expect the store to replace them without a current prescription is ridiculous.
