Since my initial posting about Pearl Vision. Several things have happened. First , I gave their parent company another opportunity to correct the problem. I must add that I asked for a supervisor ONLY. I did get to speak to an immediate supervisor who was incredibly apologetic and offered to send me a coupon for 50 % off of anything in their stores. It was brought to my attention that the store I dealt with was a franchise. They have very little control over franchise stores I was told. They also said that they would RETRAIN the staff with whom I first spoke to and that customer satisfaction IS their policy. Lastly, they not only gave me a coupon they have credited me with the $92.00 I spent to get a pair of glasses ( Walmart Opticle dept ) to use with my very expensive lenses. Since the parent company is LUXOTICA they own lens crafters, sunglass hut, penny's optical, sears optical, and pearl vision to name a few so they let me select where I wanted to go to order new glasses. I chose Lenscrafters and I still will not ever patronize the Pearl Vision on Miramar Parkway and Dykes Road in Miramar,Fl. They have lost my business for good. However, the corporate office has gained my confidence again and I will patronize other stores that Luxotica represents.

Original review:
Pearl Vision sold an upscale eye brand that was defective and refused to stand behind there product". The frame became un-welded and fell apart/. The corporate customer service dept contact the franchise store who refused to stand behind the defective frames, I even offered to settle with them by asking them to replace the frames with a comparable product to what I had in cost and I would order new lenses at my expense, the lenses that I buy are no line bi-focal with the " Transitions " product applied !. When given the facts of the matter the store told me that it was my choice to shop else where and corporate customer service backed them up". I will be shopping for new glasses at any possible number of establishments other than PEARLS;. They are very short sited to say the least;. I will buy many pairs of glasses in the future and they have lost my business PERMANENTLY|. There final remark was is there anything else I can do for you today, I said NO you've done enough than they replied " Good luck thank for shopping at Pearls,. They have a lot to learn about customer service !! 129d156
