Few days later, I went again, a different clerk told me any second pair should be free if undeofr it's
under $325, BUT he would check with another clerk and call me. When the call came, the pair were now $572! Worst of all, though I didn't order, they put a 'reserve' on funds from my insurance company so I couldn't order from anyone else. 129d293

1. Written by Eye glass dude on March 9, 2012 from camden, new jersey, US BOGO offers have fine print that say at participating lcations. Some stores participate some don't. Call the location you are going to to see how they handle it. ALSO the price of the frame does not include lenses and depending on the type of RX and optins you go with it is very easy to reach $700 for one pair of glasses.
2. Written by Pearle Vision Major ripoff on January 6, 2012 from revere, massachusetts, US Just got back from PV. They never mentioned Get one Free. There was a section of frames on the wall for $99 for a complete pair if you used those frames. No other conditions written on the sign. Bought my girl a pair and went back to pick them up next day. They wanted $194.00. Seems only if I paid with insurance were they $99. I did the obvious at least to me. I called the cops and when they arrived,c cop looked at sign and told the clerk to charge what the sign said or get arrested for extortion. I got the pair for $54.

4. Written by Let Down on September 24, 2011 from arlington, virginia, US Traveled 30 minutes to a Pearl Vision in Fairfax, VA today because of the buy one get one free offer. Picked out frames, went through all the pricing, and was told the second pair would still be about $300. Apparently, BOGO actually means buy one, get $200 of the second pair. That is complete BS. You can't buy a complete pair of glasses for $200. I will be filing a complaint with the Fairfax consumer protection bureau.
5. Written by Me on December 7, 2010 from edmonton, alberta, CA I was just in a Pearle Vision last night for their buy one get one free. I haven't paid for it yet, they're going to be calling my insurance today to see about direct billing. BUT after reading here, I went and looked at the promotion online, and see I'm not supposed to be able to go through my insurance. They certainly didn't tell me that. And why would they call my insurance if that goes against the promotion. If I can't use my insurance, I'll just go somewhere else.
6. Written by Curious on December 3, 2010 from -, -, - The question is why can't you combine insurance with buy one get one free? Pearle is getting paid either way.

10. Written by Pearle Optician on October 11, 2008 from syracuse, new york, US Pearle is the best is correct. All advertised sales (be it buy one get one, save $50/75/100 on a pair, or any % discount) cannot be used in conjunction with insurance plans. This is clearly marked on the coupons that you are supposed to present to get this discount/offer.
