I have never been treated so rudely or lied to like this and told 'well too bad' before in my life".

I was quoted a price for a glasses and contact exam, glasses (frame and lenses), and a years worth of contacts with trial pairs included/. The quoted price - $480!.

This quote was made by an employee that is no longer working there, as I was told by the management". When I went to pick up my contacts, after I confirmed with the employee over the phone that my final payment had covered the FULL BALANCE of the package (glasses and contacts), I was now told there was a remaining balance of $500|. Never before was I told of this balance, and in fact I was told multiple times that I had paid off the cost IN FULL when I made my second payment". I made notes during each visit and during each phone call, because of the fact that I needed to keep notes and receipts since I was using my Benny Card, so I have the facts/conversations documented/.

After speaking with a timid little assistant there, the manager came of the phone:. She basically told me that I was out of luck, and that it was impossible that I was told any of that information from the employee that was no longer working there. She continued to go on and on calling me a liar and that no one there would ever make such a quote. I have told both the assistant and store manager that if I had I known that the contact lenses were going to cost $500 there is no way I would have EVER gone with those and wasted so much time there, when my own company benefits could have ordered the VERY SAME CONTACTS (same brand and under the correct prescription) for less than $200 for a years supply. When I was quoted the price originally, I was told and I CONFIRMED THIS WITH K******* (who is the employee that is no longer working there) that the price that I was making my first payment on was covering the eye exam (both the eye glasses exam and the contact lens exam), the glasses (frames and lenses), the trial contacts that would need to be ordered, as well as the year supply of contacts. K******* had even told me from the beginning that I would not be able to have the final contacts ordered, after I made a decision from the selection of the trial pairs, until I made the final payment the next time I was in the store. I had made two payments, and I confirmed AT THE TIME OF THE LAST PAYMENT WITH B**** AND J******* STANDING WITHIN AN EAR SHOT, that this final payment would cover the full cost of everything, to which K******* replied in the affirmative. I am furious with the way that this has come about now. I have already gone through quite the ridiculous hassle of getting my glasses lens repaired after it was scratched during the time K******* was adjusting the fitting to my face because she decided to wear large rings at an eye glass store, but now this is over the top.

Let this be a warning to anyone thinking about using the Pearl Vision in Sunset Hills, MO. You better have a camera crew there documenting everything that is said. Otherwise you're going to be out money, out time, and called a liar and "too bad" by even the management there. 129d2f4
