I was attracted by the “buy one get another pair free” advertising and went to Pearl Vision in Maple Grove. After spending a lot of time in the store to find two frames at comparable prices, I find out that there is no such thing as a second pair free but discounted to max. $200. I forgot to read the very small printing on a 3” poster. And when I expressed my surprise and discontent the technician was very rude: “this is what you pay for designer glasses”. To make matters worse one of the frames was scratched when I went to pick them up and I needed the store manager to approve replacement. Now the frame is broken and they told me I have one year warrantee on the frame but I still need to pay 50% of the initial price. What kind of a warrantee is this? I do not normally post complaints on the internet, but I felt I need to join the rest of the unhappy customers and warn people out there to avoid the Pearle Vision stores. My worst shopping experience so far. 129d4f4
